Missy Parks
Missy Parks is an information and technology specialist with the Technology Extension Division. She coaches individuals, teaches groups and advises businesses on more effective computer use strategies. Her expertise is business information integration and effective computer use that sees desktop-level efforts support broader company goals. Missy has worked hands-on in Information Technology assisting businesses in the manufacturing and service sectors, government and finance organizations, educational groups and a variety of associations.
Missy is expert in technical needs analysis, technical writing and technical curriculum and support process development. She is Network+ Certified and a Certified Microsoft Office Expert, learning both from formal coursework and from her work experience. Missy holds a B.A. from Haverford College in Political Theory and American Literature. She is a Thomas J. Watson Fellow and a member of the American Society for Training and Development. She is a member of the Waterbury Community Development Committee.
